From Ed and Edie Lou Anderson-
While we have not known you as long as some others have, we have enjoyed the pleasure of being with you at parties and dinners. We just want to say congratulations, Joyce and Lou! Hope we see you soon in the future. Love, Ed and Edie Lou, IN
Wow! How can I start to recall the fun times we have had with the Christys - mostly in the last 10 of your 50 years together. I believe it started on the Rhine, to be followed by Ireland and the Danube.....then we had Nova Scotia, Grand Canyon, New England in the fall, as well as Martha's Vineyard. They were all so much fun because we were there with you! Oh yes, there was also Michigan - up to Mackinaw, and most recently Cherry Valley Lodge and Granville. Here's to more fun trips and good times. Happy 50th!! Love, Martha and Ron

Lou and I met July. 1959,at Jones@Laughlin Steel Corp. We inhabited a castle tower on 5th Avenue in Pittsburgh, and went to work, at $495 per month, at #3 Gateway Towers. Soon, he wisely married Joyce, and left me to flounder through life with out a sensible tour guide. Having visited them in Florida in February, my belief in the wholesomeness and virtuousness of a solid marriage was enhanced. Brian Weller

Dear Joyce and Lou, We are so pleased to share our thoughts with you, family and other friends, what a wonderful couple and good friends you have been over the many years. This close friendship started in 1966 when two young couples with young children were neighbors in the Detroit area and has continued to remain a close friendship as you visited the many places we have lived and the exciting vacation times we have shared. You are both kind, loving and thoughtful people that make us feel blessed to have you as dear friends. We send our love and blessing for your 50th anniversary. Love Judy and Jerry Metsker

Dear Louie and Joyce,
All our best wishes are with your upcoming 50th wedding anniversary.
You have many beautiful memories through the years and we wish you many more in the years to come.

With all our love,
Stratton and Georgia
Don joins me in wishing you a great 50th wedding anniversary, Joyce
and Lou. Most of my memories have to do with you, Joyce, after we met
as fellow teachers at Monroe Elementary in the early 90's. You were
also a key person in introducing me to P.E.O. and now we are "sisters"
in that organization. Our husbands have interacted on occasions where
spouses have been included. Enjoy all the memories of your 50 years
together. Best wishes to both of you. Imogene Orts

Dear Joyce and Lou,

Congratulations and Best Wishes as you celebrate your 50th wedding anniversary.

We are so please to be a part of your family and share a daughter, son, and three wonderful grandchildren.

The memories we share are rich and cover much of our lives---classmates at Ohio Wesleyan, career beginnings in Cleveland, Committee gatherings, OWU reunions and the many holidays with our children and grandchildren.

We wish you much happiness in the years to come and look forward to many more enjoyable times together. Love, Emily and Dick

Joyce and Lou,
Bill and I loved seeing your wedding pictures. You were such a happy, beautiful couple then and 50 years later, still a happy, very young looking, beautiful couple!
We've had some special trips together. Ireland was spectacular and you worked hard to put together a great group to travel with! Later, four couples of us went to Branson with it snowing and Christmas lighs twinkling everywhere, and fantastic shows! Two years ago, we had a great time with Karchners and you in Destin!
Our years as P.E.O. sisters and Lou & Bill as BIL's have been special. We have enjoyed being fellow Presbyterians with you and gathering later at Java Johnnies. You are dear friends nad we wish you a ver Happy 50th Anniversary.

Love, Bill and Marge
